Ciao, como stai? Another country crossed off my bucket list.
Thank you Centennial College for the amazing 2 weeks in Italy.
The trip to Italy was a very rewarding experience, I was able to deepen my understanding of the Italian culture and advance in writing my GDD (Game Design Document)
As an entrepreneur, I was able to take a step back and look at the Italian culture objectively and write a game level storyline for my video game (coming out 2016). I can’t go into details because of IP reasons; wait and download the game lol (it’’s “Quest Heroes” on Facebook).
To be honest, before my trip to Italy, I didn’t really like Italian food but that rapidly changed during my stay. OMG, what can I say, I became a fan! I think the sudden 180 degree turn was due to the fact that nona continously surprised us at dinner 🙂 her food was delizioso!
Besides the fact that I really enjoyed the Italian gastronomy, I also made new friends (Italian and from my group), I will certainly miss our hangouts at “caffé central”, I will miss Venice, Florence, Urbania, Urbino, Gubbio, Rome and of course all the amazing people that I met; good thing we have social networks to stay in touch 🙂
I can’t wait for another adventure to begin.
Cheers,
Jean-Paul
