Italia was an experience I will never forget! I made so many new friends, enjoyed many new foods, and I learned to communicate in a new language! Urbania became a new home for me, I miss the narrow streets, Caffé Centrale, and above all my house mother and family! I felt so welcome in our home, thanks to our amazing house mother, who cooked amazing meals for us every night!
Our day trips helped us learn to communicate naturally in a public setting. Our first trip was to Urbino. This historical town was so beautiful, pictures cannot capture it!
VENICE! Venice was breath taking. I have never seen anything like Venice in my life. I have always seen pictures, but in person it is truly amazing. The Rialto Bridge is an amazing structure. For the time, a bridge that can withstand not only itself, but stores and people, was and still is a fascinating piece of engineering. Marco Square was gorgeous as well. I took so many pictures my camera ran out of storage space!
Florence reminded me of a movie setting! The high end fashion, cobblestone roads, and the historical facts! I wanted to see it all! The short few hours we spent in Florence, we ran all over to see all that could be seen! The David, The Duomo, The Uffizi! We saw it all!
Roma ❤ I fell in love with Roma! One of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen! I would go back in a heartbeat! This trip offered so many experiences! I tossed a coin into Trevi Fountain, I explored the Colosseum, I enjoyed the Gellato, I learned how to prepare fresh pasta, I roamed St. Peters, and I fell in love with a beautiful country!
I am so grateful for this opportunity! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience. I cannot express my gratitude enough!
Grazie 🙂 A Presto!
