When we arrived in San Jose it was extremely hot (not complaining though) and people were very friendly and helpful. Our hotel was about 15 minutes from the airport so it wasn’t that long of a ride and it was nice to see things that we as Canadians were used to such as Subway, Denny’s and The Best Western Hotel which is where we stayed the night. San Jose had a good vibe and it felt good. My background is Trinidadian so I’m used to that type of environment. A lot of traffic, people everywhere, the hustle and bustle of things. Our hotel was nice and clean and comfortable. We had dinner at Subway and went to bed early that night. The people were very friendly though and always smiling and it just made you feel good.
