On the past Saturday, I had a tour in the famous Basque city, San Sebastian. I arrived there at 9 AM by bus and the transportation was cheap (about 3.5 Eur) by using the local MUGI card (55% of the regular price).
The bus station was close to the river. Above pictures were taken while I was walking along the rive. (click the picture to view large one.)
The city is very beatiful with clean river, sea, nice beaches and numerous Bars.
Around the Church of San Vicente, People can find many bars and restaurants that sell Basque pintxo and other types of food.
It is also a fun to climb to the top of Urgull hill along the Priests’ Walkway to reach the Christ Statue ( Sacred Heart). There is also a castle on the hill. From there, I could see more amazing view of the city.
I kept walking around in the city, climbing the hill and meeting many tourists from different counties. I had so much fun there until my legs and feet became painful and hardly could walk any more. Then took a bus back to Mondragon at 9PM. My next plan is to visit Bilbao, another major city in Basque country.
Hope you enjoy reading my post,
