Turku, Finland by Sarah

Turku Castle

From August 9th till August 24th, I received the privilege of visiting Turku, Finland. I attended classes with other international students at the Turku University of Applied sciences. I took a Finnish culture and society course which I really enjoyed. We got to learn about the culture then go out and experience it. They also hosted events for the international summer school like a Global Village, to get to know the other cultures, a trip to the Turku Archipelago and multiple guided tours. I met a lot of very interesting people and I wish I could stay longer! Trips like these are amazing opportunities for students, they allow us to see how the rest of the world works. I’d recommend a trip like this for everyone.
